Zigman hired to compose score for Bridge to Terabithia

Aaron Zigman has been hired to compose the orchestral score for Disney and Walden Media’s fantasy adventure BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA, directed by Gabor Csupo based on the novel by Katherine Paterson. Recording artist Alison Krauss has decided to step down from scoring duties on the film but is still involved in the project as a songwriter. The film is due out on February 16 next year and stars Josh Hutcherson, AnnaSophia Robb, and Robert Patrick.

Composer Zigman got his big break in the business with THE NOTEBOOK in 2004. Since then, he has been one of the busiest composers in Hollywood with eight (!) 2006 titles on his filmography, including AKEELAH AND THE BEE, ATL, 10TH AND WOLF, and FLICKA.
