His co-star, Danny Dyer, known for roles in Human Traffic and The Business, said: “We have enjoyed shooting ‘Outlaw’ in this historic city and the council must get a big thankyou for making things happen at such short notice.” Lennie James added: “People in the city have been very understanding about what we have needed and given us their time and use of facilities.” The decision to choose Gloucester as a location is another boost to the regeneration programme. He added: “Gloucester is increasingly being seen as a ‘film friendly’ location and the benefits to the city are enormous. Film productions bring in large economic benefits to a variety of businesses ? and that is something we are keen to encourage.” [24dash.com]
