Charlotte’s Web Barn Kits Help Communities in US and the World

To celebrate the themes of giving, friendship and miracles in the upcoming film Charlotte’s Web, Paramount Pictures and Walden Media have made available over 20,000 barn kits to help groups build “harvest giving barns” to make a real and positive difference in their community. Once built, these cardboard barns can be filled with ‘time, talents and treasures’ to help those in need in the community.

Quite a Tangled ‘Web’

Shooting Charlotte’s classic tale proved anything but pastoral. The story is deceptively simple. A runty piglet, a stubborn little girl, some barn animals and a brilliant spider literally spell out a lesson in love and sacrifice. Yet heaven and earth and a million leaves would be moved in the process of turning E.B. White’s beloved “Charlotte’s Web” into a live-action movie.

Dominic Scott Kay lends Voice to Charlotte’s Web video game

SEGA® of America, Inc. and SEGA® Europe Ltd. announced that actor Dominic Scott Kay, who voices the role of Wilbur in Paramount Pictures’/Walden Media’s presentation of a Kerner Entertainment/Nickelodeon Movies production, the holiday release Charlotte’s Web, has reprised his role in the DS™ and PC versions of the Charlotte’s Web video game. The game is was released on November 14, 2006 and is also available for the Nintendo Game Boy® Advance and mobile phones.

Share stories of helping others

Families are invited to submit stories of how they have helped others in the community. Those with the best stories will receive tickets to the Charlotte’s Web screening at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at AMC Westgate 20 at Glendale Avenue and Loop 101. (Remember, anyone can Share a Miracle Moment at these Charlotte’s Web forums.)

Charlotte’s Web Release Moved Up

Paramount Pictures has decided to move to an earlier release date.

The movie will now hit theaters on Friday, December 15th rather than it’s original scheduled release date on Monday, December 20th where it would have gone up against the new Ben Stiller family comedy Night at the Museum and the New York/LA release of The Painted Veil.

The Charlotte’s Web Holiday Internet Teaser

Paramount Pictures has provided a new “Bells Holiday Internet Teaser” for the anticipated Charlotte’s Web, coming to theaters on December 20. Directed by Gary Winick, the big screen adaptation stars Dakota Fanning, Julia Roberts, Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, Oprah Winfrey, Cedric the Entertainer, Andre Benjamin, Thomas Haden Church, Robert Redford, Reba McEntire and Kathy Bates.
