Austin film fans had a chance to get a sneak peak of the film How To Eat Fried Worms Sunday night.
Most of the movie was filmed right in Central Texas at locations like Zilker School, Blue Hole and the Austin Diner. There’s even some local talent in the film.
The movie is based on a classic book by Thomas Rockwell.
The audience had the chance to talk to Nick Krause from Georgetown, who plays Nigel in the film.
A word of warning for parents though; a strong stomach is needed to get through this one.
One young lady summed up her thoughts about the grossest part of the movie.
“Probably eating the worms,” filmgoer Rachel McAlpine said. “Seeing them eat all those disgusting types of worms.”
