Janszen brings ‘Savvy’ to Walden

Walden Media has tapped Karen Janszen to adapt Ingrid Law’s young-adult book “Savvy.”

Walden’s publishing division recently published the novel in partnership with Penguin Young Readers Group.

The story revolves around a Midwestern family with superpowers. Law, who has been living in a trailer park up until now, is drawing rave reviews for her first novel.

As with other Walden projects in development, “Savvy” is expected to be distributed through 20th Century Fox and marketed by Fox Walden.
