Heartland to award ‘The Seeker’

Twentieth Century Fox and Walden Media’s “The Seeker” has been tapped to receive the Heartland Truly Moving Picture Award.

The pic, which was directed by David L. Cunningham (“The Path to 911”) and produced by Marc Platt (“Legally Blonde”), will be honored along with “Becoming Jane,” “A Mighty Heart” and “Ratatouille,” among others.

Since its inception in 1991, Heartland Truly Moving Pictures has awarded more than $1.8 million to support filmmakers.
