Actor Brendan Fraser was injured on the set of his new movie in Montreal. The star, who lived in Canada for several years, was reportedly rehearsing a stunt for the movie Journey 3-D when he suffered burns on his hand.
Fraser was treated by a medic but his publicist downplays the incident and says the actor has only a minor injury.
In the movie, based on the Jules Verne classic Journey to the Center of the Earth, Fraser plays a scientist who finds himself in a lost world while searching for his missing brother. It is being shot in the 3D digital format
He is expected back on set later this week.
